Description
The Quiver Killer DIY installation tool set is ideal for the installation of QK binding inserts without using a mounting jig.
Trade installers or DIY'ers using a jig or doing high volume installations are recommended to use the Pro Installation Kit.
The DIY set comprises of the following:
- step drill bit
- bottom tap
- M5 pan head machine screw with locking nuts for installing the inserts
- 5ml tube of Vibratite VC3 threadlock

Note: Epoxy to bond the inserts in to the ski is NOT included. A two-part slow cure flexible waterproof epoxy is required. Jon recommends Araldite Standard which can be purchased separately from this section of the online store.
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE USE OF LOCTITE
Loctite may be harmful to some of the plastics of which bindings are composed. For example, 22 Designs specifically forbids the use of Loctite with their telemark bindings.
For this reason Quiver Killer only recommend the use Vibra-Tite VC3 which is a non-anaerobic formula that is benign to all plastics. Paint the solution onto the end 3/4mm of the mounting screws & leave to dry before installation. The screws may be un- and re-installed several times before re-application is required.
